Thursday, February 2, 2023 @ 6:45 P.M. at the Holden Senior Center Winter Sowing Native Plants: please join us as Nicole Conza of Ladyfern Farm teaches us about the importance of native plants to native birds and insects. Ms. Conza will also teach us how to make a mini- greenhouse by planting native seeds (provided) in a clear, plastic jug, which we will set outside until spring. Participants should start saving your clear, plastic one-gallon water/milk jugs NOW.

Thursday, April 6, 2023 @ 6:45 P.M. at the Holden Senior Center We Are One With The Earth: please join us as author, lecturer and Holden Garden Club member Margaret Watson describes the contributions of gardeners Gregor Mendel, Eliza Pinckney and Rachel Carson, who understood our relationship with the natural world and who sought to preserve it in effort to avoid tragic events such as the potato famine in Ireland.

NEW!!!!********Thursday June 22, 2023******** Times & Locations: To Be Announced Members’ Gardens Tour, Annual Luncheon Picnic & Annual Meeting: please join us for a NEW event at which we will combine our Members’ Gardens Tour with our Annual Luncheon Picnic & Annual Meeting.
First, three members (names and locations to be announced) will share their beautiful summer gardens with us. Following our Members’ Gardens Tour, we will enjoy our catered Annual Luncheon Picnic and we will hold our Annual Meeting at the last garden of the Tour. At our Annual Meeting, we will review the highlights of the past year and preview our next program cycle. New officers will be elected. ****Please bring a lawn chair for the Annual Luncheon Picnic and the Annual Meeting****
